Activity organisers agree to keep updated their registration details accurate and up-to-date. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate or not current, or Essex County Council suspects that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, Essex County Council may suspend or stop your accounts and refuse any current or future use of Essex Activities.
During the Essex Activities registration process, you will create a unique password. You must maintain the confidentiality of the password and are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
You must immediately notify Essex County Council of any unauthorised use of your account or any breach of security. Essex County Council is not liable for any loss or damage caused by unauthorised access to or use of your account.
If your account has not had any events listed for two years, all data will be cleared.
In using Essex Activities, activity organisers upload data about their organisation, activities, venues, activity dates, ticket prices, and so on. This data populates the Essex Activities website, which the customer can then search for activities.
The accuracy of activity information is the responsibility of the activity organiser. It breaches these terms to provide inaccurate activity details (including not changing the listing if activity dates, times or other details change) and may lead to the activity organiser’s account being suspended.
Essex County Council may seek compensation from activity organisers for any direct costs incurred if incorrect activity information is listed on Essex Activities.
Users who submit user content to the website, whether activity information, images or other copyrightable material must make sure it does not infringe the others’ copyrights, including, but not limited, to trademark, trade secret, privacy or publicity rights.
If a copyright holder or its agent tells us about a breach of their copyright on Essex Activities, and confirmation of this breach by a court order or admission by the user of the breach. We may, at our discretion, stop a user's access to the website before confirmation if we believe an infringement has happened.
